Hi Jessica. I rarely check in with the website but am always in some way inspired when I do. Even your humblest entries convey your strength and spirit.
I am amazed that you doubt your worth today. You have been responsible for caring not only for your own children but have held and continue to hold the hands of many families as we journey this trying road. We are all an MPS family and Jessica Wellman is our mother!
Much love,

I pray you do find what your heart is looking for but also HOPE you know how much you have ALREADY changed the world for the better by bringing Katie into it and sharing all that love with everyone you have ever met!!!!

Jessica, your site is awesome. What a giving person you are. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with the rest of us. I know how frustrating it can be to never have time for yourself to get things done 'cause you're always doing stuff for other people to help THEM out, but that says a LOT about the kind of person that you are.

Hi Jess! You have such a beautiful way with words. I'm sorry that August is such a difficult time for you and your family, I can't imagine the pain you carry in your hearts. I know you long to see sweet Kaity again. I'm glad that you all were able to spend some quality time with Alli at the conference, I know how much that means to you.

I NEED A COPY OF THAT PIC!!!!
I came here to feel closer to you and am missing you all more now as I sit here in tears, both happy and sad. I really wish we really had an island close to one another because our time together was far too short and I MISS YOU BOTH SO MUCH ALREADY!!. Thank you so much for all the love you have in your heart for all of our families and especially for my little munchkin, he really loves you and Brian and did not have enough time to spend with you both. I'm so happy that you had such a special visit with Ali, each of you and Josh as well, I can only imagine what that must do for each of you, I pray it fills just a tiny bit of that void. I know that seeing Holly and Sandra with Zachie, he brings back some of that joy and laughter they miss as well if even for just a few moments, I think it's well worth the long trip!! I don't know about you but I am hoping for a mid winter reunion again but this time you have to get the time off!!! I can't wait a whole year again, that sucked!!!! Sorry, that was a bad word. :0(
really though, I miss you so and hope we can find a way to get together again soon!! Give Brian big hugs and kisses from us and most especially the little twirp!! We love you!! XXX's & OOO's!!!!!!

Your site is a lovely idea -- to help and support each other.
I am delighted at being a grandma again, and still miss Danny every day -- the hurt does not go away.

According to these criteria, Danny lived a life that mattered!

> Ready or not, someday it will all come to an end.
> There will be no more sunrises, no days, no hours or minutes.
> All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten,
> will pass to someone else.
> Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.
> It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.
> Your grudges, resentments, frustrations, and jealousies will finally
> disappear.
> So, too, your hopes, ambitions, plans, and to-do lists will all expire.
> The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.
> It won't matter where you came from, or on what side of the tracks you lived.
> It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant.
> Your gender, skin color, ethnicity will be irrelevant.
>
>
>
> So what will matter?
> How will the value of your days be measured?
> What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built;
> not what you got, but what you gave.
> What will matter is not your success, but your significance.
> What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught.
> What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage and sacrifice
> that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.
> What will matter is not your competence, but your character.
> What will matter is not how many people you knew,
> but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.
> What will matter is not your memories, but the memories of those who loved
> you.
> What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.
> Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident.
> It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.
> Choose to live a life that matters.
> ~ by Michael Josephson ~
