This site made its debut in 2000.  The forum is owned and operated by MPS and ML family members just like yourself. We are comprised of one Administrator, six Committee Members and as of today, 849 family members.  Each and every member of the forum are anxious to assist you along your journey.

For newly diagnosed parents, the news you’ve recently been given is heartbreaking and worrisome.  The last thing you want to do is learn your way around this site, but there are so many families here to help you. “The Island,” as we fondly refer to the forum, is a safe haven and a wealth of information from family members who’ve already walked your path.
